Wauna Burge is a dedicated healthcare professional residing in Chelsea, Alabama. With over 28 years of experience as a registered nurse, she has developed a diverse skill set, including pediatric step-down, adult acute and ambulatory care, utilization review,and emergency medicine. Wauna earned her Master’s in Nursing and Health Systems Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2006. She recently completed a Post-Master’s Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Troy University in May 2024.

Outside of her professional life, Wauna enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and their two children, William (20), Danielle (19) and Charlie, a beloved, playful Goldendoodle. She is an avid fan of reality TV, enjoys listening to music, and loves walking her dog in the neighborhood. Additionally, she is a passionate Disney World and Universal Studios enthusiast and a proud annual passholder.

In June 2024, she began her role as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) at Southern Wellness, where she continues to provide high-quality care to her patients.
